In doing so I would like to ask if you can take the opportunity to read and give feedback to me by next Tuesday 18th June. I chose that date so that a preliminary report can be made to the BOD meeting which is scheduled for the 20th June 2013
The Review Committee has tried to present this draft in a manner that makes it relatively easy for you to make comparisons of our proposed Bye-Laws with our existing Rules and with what the commissioner's offices propose as a Model Bye Law. We have used the Model as our base and moved on from there. As a result, the clauses of our existing Bye Laws are not in numerical order.
Please note that the main difference between our current Rules and the Model, is in detail and in the order in which clauses are presented. The Model in the order of clauses seeks to redirect Credit Union's priorities and focus.
